Often it?s not how you in react to adversity but how you learn from it.
Just a week ago the Storm were coming off a hugely disappointing 3-1 home loss to the London Knights, probably their biggest rival. Ironically the next day they were named as the fourth best junior team in Canada and their next opponent would be on the road against the third best team in OHL, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Instead of rolling over and feeling sorry for themselves they came out and blasted the Hounds in their own backyard 8-3 and then pounded Sudbury 5-1 Sunday night. I know it is a very long season and we are only in the month of November, but it was one of those defining moments that makes you wonder if this team isn?t made of something a little special. There will be slumps along the way but this club has forged a work ethic under Shawn Camp and his assistant coaches that forces people to sit up and take notice.
?Our win in Sault Ste. Marie was a man?s response to what had happened the previous Sunday (against London)? said Camp reflecting on his team?s two wins. ?The best part was our guys kept coming even when the lead started to build.?
