Guelph Storm falls in overtime in Ottawa

OTTAWA – Kyle Maksimovich scored a power play goal with 51 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Ottawa 67’s a 4-3 win in Ottawa Friday night.

Lucas Chiodo circled the Storm net then found a waiting Maksimovich who fired it into the open net as Guelph netminder Anthony Popovich couldn’t recover from Chiodo’s rush in close.

The Ottawa penalty came when Guelph was whistled for too many men on the ice.
