Ratcliffe named Storm Player of the Week

The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Isaac Ratcliffe is the Player of the Week for the week ending March 4th, 2018.

Ratcliffe was the Storm’s top point getter this past weekend recording 7 points (5 goals and 2 assists) in three games. Scoring multiple points in each, the London native was named a star in all three contests.  His best game came on Friday against the Flint Firebirds. Entering the 3rd period down four goals, Isaac Ratcliffe lead the charge for a come back, scoring a natural hat trick with 3 goals in the 3rd to push the game into overtime. He also scored the game winning goal and recorded an assist in the Storm’s 8-3 win over the Attack on Saturday night and scored his team leading 37th goal against the Rangers on Sunday.

So far this season, Ratcliffe leads the team in goals with 37 and is tied with Ryan Merkley for the lead in points with 62.

Next up, The Storm head to London on Wednesday to take on the Knights for a 7:00pm game.  After that, they return to the Sleeman Centre to host the Saginaw Spirit  in a key match-up with massive playoff implications. Game time is 7:30pm. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online or by visiting or calling the Guelph Storm Box Office a 519-837-9690.
