Matt Ryan featured in ‘Storm Sounds’

The ‘voice of your Storm’ Larry Mellott of 1460 CJOY sat down with former Storm MVP Matt Ryan during the recent Alumni Weekend.

The Sharon, Ontario native was picked up by the Storm as a free agent after a short stint with the Niagara Purple Eagles in the NCAA.  After posting decent numbers in his first half-season in the OHL, Ryan exploded in year two helping the Storm to the 2003/04 OHL Championship and earning a pro contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Ryan chats with Larry about being part of the LA Kings organization with so many former members of the Storm, the success that the club had in 2003/04 and memories of the Royal City.
