Samorukov Named Player of the Week

The Guelph Storm announced today that defenceman Dmitri Samorukov is the Player of the Week for the week ending November 6, 2016.

The six-foot, 165-pound defender had a week to remember scoring his first career OHL goal in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Otters last Wednesday. The Volgograd native followed that up with an empty-net goal against the 67’s on Saturday and then recorded an assist on Sunday afternoon versus the Frontenacs.

After a three-game road trip, the Storm return to their friendly confines of the Sleeman Centre to face the Ottawa 67’s. For tickets visit or call the Storm Box Office at (519) 837-9690, or purchase online HERE.
