Storm select Ben McFarlane in the sixth round

With the 107th overall pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection, the Guelph Storm welcomed Ben McFarlane to the Royal City in the sixth round.

The five-foot-seven, 149-pound right winger registered 37 points (21 goals, 16 assists) along with 20 penalty minutes through 32 games for the Cambridge Hawks Minor Midget AAA team in 2017-18.

A native of Ayr, Ontario, McFarlane had 15 points (10 goals, five assists) in 12 games in the postseason, while adding a goal in four games through the 2018 OHL Cup Showcase.
