Training Camp Day 2

By Tony Saxon, Guelph Mercury

First scrimmage of camp was pretty decent. Fast paced, at least for the first 30 minutes, and plenty of clean but solid hitting.

Red Team won the first scrimmage 3-2. Red goals: Patrick Watling, Justin Auger and Max Ballinson. White goals: Tanner Richard and Hunter Garlent.

While some of the first year rookies had the expected jitters and apprehensiveness, some of the second-year rookies looked pretty decent.

Guelph Mercury beat writer Tony Saxon will be covering training camp from the Sleeman Centre. You can read more about the second day of training camp here
