Walker steps down as head coach

GUELPH, ON — The Guelph Storm Hockey Club has announced that effective immediately, Scott Walker has decided to step down as Head Coach of the Guelph Storm Hockey Club. 

The current coaching staff of Bill Stewart and Todd Harvey will handle the coaching responsibilities through the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

“I want to spend more time with my family as life has been incredibly hectic since I retired as an NHL player several years ago,” said Walker. 

“The team is in good hands with Bill and Todd doing the coaching, and I am very confident that under their direction we can have an exceptionally successful season.”

Scott will remain as co-owner of the Guelph Storm.

The 2014-15 season is presented by RBC Play Hockey.
