Inside the Guelph Storm

Junior hockey has a rich tradition in the City of Guelph.  Since the middle of the 20th century, Guelph has embraced junior franchises that include the Guelph Biltmore Mad Hatters (1952 Memorial Cup Champions) and the Guelph Platers (1986 Memorial Cup Champions).

The Guelph Storm has continued this tradition of excellence.  The Guelph Storm’s four appearances in the Memorial Cups since 1996, the round robin tournament for the most sought after trophy in junior hockey, is an accomplishment that clearly demonstrates the consistent level of excellence of the organization.

For the Guelph Storm Hockey Club, success on the ice has been the direct result of the organization striving for excellence in several fundamental areas.  Founded on the principle of developing young men on and off the ice to prepare them for a successful career in hockey, or in the business community, the organization maintains an exceedingly high standard in the following areas.  To learn more about the team browse through each section on our website.
