50/50… The Storm and the Knights have played 26 times in five previous post-season series.  Both teams have won 13 games with the Storm holding a decided edge in goals for / against having outscored London 92-77.

‘House of Green’ not so mean… Including the upcoming series, the Knights have owned home-ice advantage in five of six series versus the Storm.  Guelph’s playoff record in London is 8-6.  The Knights have won 7 of 12 games played in Guelph.

Overtime unkind… Of the 26 head-to-head meetings between London and Guelph in the post-season, a total of five games have gone into sudden death overtime.  The Knights won the first four games that went to extra time including two overtime sessions in 2004 and a pair in 2006.  The Storm finally snapped the overtime losing streak in 2008 when Drew Doughty scored just 34 seconds into sudden death in Game One.

One Goal results one-sided… The Knights have dominated the all-time series in one-goal games boasting an 8-2 record including each of London’s last four head-to-head wins.  Guelph’s average margin of victory in their 13 wins is almost three goals (2.92).
