Acquired by the Storm in the 1ST round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, McFadden has skated in 292 regular season games throughout his 5 year OHL career.  Since making his OHL debut in September 2013… he has played his entire career in the Royal City collecting 32 goals, 114 assists and 146 points.  An OHL Champion in 2014… winner of the team’s MVP and Top Defenceman last season and several other team awards… it’s hard to believe that his excellence in a Storm uniform on the ice, could be equalled by his remarkable efforts off the ice.  Winner of the OHL’s Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy in 2016… the Kincardine, Ontario native created McFadden’s Movement an initiative for mental health in 2016 and has proceeded to raise awareness at speaking engagements across the region while also raising twenty-five thousand dollars for mental health resources.  Please watch the video as we look back on the junior career of our captain #27 Garrett McFadden.
