January continues and so do the highlights!  The 16th edition of the OHL Plays of the Week for the 2016-17 season feature another exciting countdown of the league’s Top-5 goals for the week ending January 15.

This week’s plays begin with a pair of first overall picks including David Levin of the Sudbury Wolves going behind-the-back to Dmitry Sokolov, and rookie defenceman Ryan Merkley who makes a couple of moves before dishing to Nate Schnarr for the finish.  The countdown continues with a pair of shorthanded goals first from Aaron Luchuk of the Windsor Spitfires who accepts a Hail Mary pass from Julius Nattinen to score a man down, then Johnny Corneil of the Niagara IceDogs who scores a dandy on Pink in the Rink night.  The countdown ends with Joseph Garreffa of the Kitchener Rangers who dangles in tight to score a beauty against the Barrie Colts.
