Nate Schnarr Named Storm Player of the Week

The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Nate Schnarr is the Player of the Week for the week ending February 11th, 2018.

Recording six points in three games, Schnarr led the way offensively for the Storm this past weekend. His best game came on Thursday in Windsor when he put forth a first star effort, recording three points (one goal and two assists) in the Storm’s 4-3 win over the Spitfires.  On Friday,  Schnarr picked up one assist against in the Storm’s 4-3 overtime win against the Saginaw Spirit. At home on Sunday afternoon, the Coyotes prospect had a hand in both Storm goals collecting two assists in the overtime loss to the London Knights.

So far this year, Schnarr  has 13 goals and 20 assists in 43 games played. The Waterloo native has been hot as of late recording eight points in his last six games.

Next up, the Storm host the Ottawa 67s on Friday night for Grain Farmers night before facing a home and home against the Erie Otters on Sunday in Erie and Guelph on Family Day Monday.
