FAQ: Ticket Update

The Guelph Storm support the Canadian Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League’s decision to pause season play to try to help eliminate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We are committed to the health and safety of our players, officials, fans, staff and the general public and will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with the OHL and CHL.

 We thank our fans for their patience and support during this unprecedented time.

Please see below for answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the announcement.

**If you require an immediate refund for single-game ticket purchases, please contact the original point of purchase.  For all tickets purchased online or over the phone please call our box office at 1-866-STORM-GO with your order number. For tickets purchased in person at the Storm Box Office, please return the ticket in person during normal Storm box office hours, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.**

 Guelph Storm 2019-20 Season FAQ:

I purchased Guelph Storm Season Tickets for Friday, March 13 vs. Windsor, Sunday, March 15 vs. London or Friday, March 20 vs. Sarnia in person at the Guelph Storm Box Office. What should I do?

Please keep your ticket(s) for the game initially scheduled. When/if the games are rescheduled, the original ticket(s) will be honoured for the new dates.

Can I still order Season Tickets for next year at the Early Bird Prices?

Yes… 2020-21 Season Tickets are currently on sale at the Early Bird Prices.  We will continue to honour Early Bird Prices until the conclusion of the 2019-20 season and/or 2019-20 OHL Playoffs.

I went to the Storm Box Office in person and purchased a ‘single game’ ticket(s) for Friday, March 13 vs. Windsor, Sunday, March 15 vs. London or Friday, March 20 vs. Sarnia. What should I do?

Please keep your ticket(s) for the game initially scheduled. When/if the games are rescheduled, the original ticket(s) will be honoured for the new dates. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date(s), please return your ticket(s) in person to the Guelph Storm Box Office for a refund during regular Storm Box Office Hours (M-F 10 am – 5 pm).  All refunds will be processed onto the method of payment used for purchase.  If tickets were purchased using gift certificate(s) or redeemable ticket voucher(s), they will be refunded as gift certificates or redeemable ticket voucher(s).

I called the Storm Box Office and purchased a ‘single game’ ticket(s) for Friday, March 13 vs. Windsor, Sunday, March 15 vs. London or Friday, March 20 vs. Sarnia. What should I do?

If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date(s), call the Box Office at 1-866-STORM-GO with your order number and credit card information available.  All refunds will be processed onto the method of payment used for purchase.

I purchased a ‘single game’ ticket(s) for Friday, March 13 vs. Windsor, Sunday, March 15 vs. London or Friday, March 20 vs. Sarnia through a third-party ticket seller (i.e. not the Guelph Storm). What should I do?

Please keep your ticket(s) for the game initially scheduled. When/if the games are rescheduled, the original ticket(s) will be honoured for the new dates. The Guelph Storm cannot issue refunds for tickets purchased through third-party ticket sellers.  If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date(s), please refer to the return policy of the third-party ticket seller.

I purchased a ticket through a group for an upcoming game. What should I do?

Please keep your ticket(s) for the game initially scheduled. When/if the games are rescheduled, the original ticket(s) will be honoured for the new dates. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date(s), please return your ticket(s) to the point of purchase (i.e. group organizer).

I have a ticket voucher/gift certificate for the 2019-20 season. Can I still use it?

All ticket vouchers/gift certificates issued for the 2019-20 season that have not been used, will be honoured for any rescheduled games in the 2019-20 season including playoffs and/or 2020-21 regular season games.

Is the Storm Office/Spykes Sports Store still open?

Yes. The Storm office will remain open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm. Spyke’s will be open regular business hours and online purchases can still be made. Please note these times are subject to change.

What should I do about my Season Ticket Holder playoff order form?

Once/if the season resumes, you can submit your playoff form to the Guelph Storm Administration Office at that time.

What will happen to single game tickets if the regular season is NOT resumed and these three games are not rescheduled?

In the event that the Canadian Hockey League terminates the 2019/20 regular season, refunds will be processed onto the method of payment used for purchase for tickets purchased in-person at the Guelph Storm Box Office, by calling the Guelph Storm Box Office or online at tickets.guelphstorm.com.  If tickets were purchased using gift certificate(s) or redeemable ticket voucher(s), they will be refunded as gift certificates or redeemable ticket voucher(s).

What will happen to Guelph Storm Season Tickets if the regular season is NOT resumed and these three games are not rescheduled?

In the event that the Canadian Hockey League terminates the 2019/20 regular season, Guelph Storm Season Ticket Holders will be refunded as a credit towards their 2020/21 Season Ticket Account based on the per game rate of their 2019-20 Season Tickets (not including City of Guelph license fees if applicable).  If you would prefer a refund, please contact the Guelph Storm Box Office (M-F 10 am – 5 pm), or by calling 1-866-STORM-GO and a cheque will be issued for the amount.
