There were few smiles bigger in the entire city of Guelph last Friday than the one on the face of Storm veteran Austin Hall. Even though his team had lost 4-3 in overtime to the Flint Firebirds he couldn’t suppress the joy he had felt that night and no one could blame him. He had just completed his first game after missing 30 straight games with a concussion.
“It was very, very tough,” said Hall when asked about his three months away. “There was a real tough time there when it was taking its toll on me,” he said. “Am I going to be back? I didn’t think it was going to be such a severe concussion but the symptoms lasted a long time but everyone stuck behind me.”
