Guelph Storm falls in overtime in Ottawa

OTTAWA – Kyle Maksimovich scored a power play goal with 51 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Ottawa 67’s a 4-3 win in Ottawa Friday night.

Lucas Chiodo¬†circled the Storm net then found a waiting Maksimovich who fired it into the open net as Guelph netminder Anthony Popovich¬†couldn’t recover from Chiodo’s rush in close.

The Ottawa penalty came when Guelph was whistled for too many men on the ice.
