Guelph Storm Home Opener Street Fest Celebration on September 30th!

We are excited to announce that we will be kicking off the 2022-2023 regular season with a free Street Fest Celebration! Join us on Friday, September 30th from noon until puck drop on MacDonnell Street where there will be live entertainment and activities for all ages.

When: Friday, September 30th 12:00pm until puck drop at 7:30pm

Where: On MacDonnell Street, (between Wyndham and the West Parkade). The street will be closed to traffic all day.

What: Live entertainment, family activities, a kids area, downtown restaurant and patios open, City of Guelph water wagon.

How: All downtown parking lots will remain open during Fan Fest. City buses will be operational.

Cost: FREE

Live Entertainment, I, The Mountain will perform from 4:45pm-5:30pm and 6:00pm-6:45pm. “I, the Mountain is a four piece indie-folk band based in Kitchener, ON. Known for their joyous harmonies, high energy performances, and infectious song writing, the band has built a passionate fanbase of “Mountaineers” from their hard work, never-quit attitude, and genuine love for music and community.”. 

Activities include Game Asylum, Top Shot Hockey, and the Guelph Fire Department. Infinite Body Art will be present for face painting. Anishnabeg Outreach will be present as our Fan Fest and Home Opener fall on Truth and Reconciliation Day.
