Guelph Storm starts second half on a winning note

PETERBOROUGH — Pavel Gogolev came back to haunt his old team Saturday night as the Guelph Storm opened the second half of its season with a 3-2 overtime win over the Peterborough Petes.

Gogolev, acquired last season as part of a package for Ryan Merkley, scored on a breakaway 12 seconds into overtime to give Guelph the win.
