Slumping Guelph Storm falls to lowly Frontenacs

KINGSTON — The Guelph Storm lost its fourth straight Saturday night, 3-1 to the Kingston Frontenacs.

Kingston’s Maddox Callens scored the winning goal at 13:39 of the third period, a long wrist shot that seemed to deflect of a Guelph defenceman’s stick before beating goaltender Owen Bennett.

That goal made it 2-1. Shane Wright finished off the game with an empty netter.

Gueph now sits in fifth place in the Western Conference.
