Storm defeat Sting 2-1

Sasha Pastujov recorded his 4th of the year, Braeden Bowman scored the game winner in the first minute of the third and Jacob Oster made 35 saves in the Storm’s 2-1 win on Friday night at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Up next, the Storm host the Rangers on Sunday October 24th at 2pm for the fourth match up between these two rivals this season.

Sunday is also Brent Johnson of Wayne Pitman Ford Lincoln’s annual Food Drive in support of the Guelph Food Bank.

When you enter the rink, volunteers will be on hand to collect your much needed non-perishable food items or cash donations in support of the Guelph Food Bank. For every food item donated, you will receive a raffle ticket that will be entered into a draw with the chance to win an autographed Storm jersey.

If you’d like to take part, you can purchase tickets to Sunday’s game here.

During our last season with all that was collected, along with some cash donations over 1,800 meals were provided for the Guelph Food Bank.
