Zhugin, the 5’10, 175 lbs left-handed forward from Russia was selected 54th overall in this year’s CHL Import Draft. Zhugin had an impressive season with Metallurg Magnitogorsk U16 team in 2019-20, recording 28 goals, 26 assists, 54 points, and 20 PIMs in 32 games. Zhugin followed up with an outstanding 2020-21 campaign with Magnitogorsk Stalnye Lisy of the MHL, producing 10 goals, 15 assists, 25 points, and 12 PIMs in 44 games.
