Campbell, a 5.09, 160 lb defenceman from Mississauga, headed into camp as an undrafted free agent invitee.

“Colin has had an outstanding training camp and has earned the opportunity to join our club,” said Burnett.  “His speed and puck-moving ability are a welcome addition to our blue line.”

Campbell spent the 2018-19 season split between with the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior Hockey League and the Mississauga Rebels Midget AAA.

“It is an honour to be part of this great organization,” said Campbell.  “This is a big opportunity for me and I would like to thank my teammates and the staff for being so welcoming.”

Campbell is expected to suit up for pre season action starting tonight against the Mississauga Steelheads. The first home exhibition game takes places tomorrow against the Flint Firebirds. Puck drop is 7pm. Visit for tickets.
