Storm to host Special Olympics nights Friday, March 3rd

This Friday, March 3, Guelph Storm play host to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Storm’s annual Special Olympics night presented by Denso.

In partnership with the Guelph Storm, the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Guelph Police Service, the Storm will host the Special Olympics Night, a fundraiser for Special Olympics. During the game, members of the Guelph Police Service and Local Law Enforcement agencies will be collecting donations to raise funds for the Special Olympics.

All the funds raised will go directly to the Special Olympics. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest grassroots fundraiser for the Special Olympics.

Prior to the game, the Storm will honour the Guelph Buns Master Rollers, as they leave for the World Special Olympics Floor Hockey Championships in Austria next month. The championship takes place during the Special Olympics World Winter games, which run from March 14-25. For more information, click here.

On behalf of the Special Olympics Ontario, OHL and the Guelph Storm, thank you for your cooperation and support.
