Storm trades forward Ty Collins to Mississauga

GUELPH – Guelph Storm General Manager and Head Coach, George Burnett, has announced that the Storm have traded forward Ty Collins to the Mississauga Steelheads in exchange for Saginaw’s third round pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection and Mississauga’s fifth round pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.

Headed to Mississauga is Collins, a native of Newmarket, Ontario, who was the Storm’s second round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. Collins was part of the Guelph Storm’s OHL Championship run in 2018-19.

The Guelph Storm organization appreciates Ty’s commitment and wishes him and his family the best with his new opportunity.
