Underdog Storm set to face Sting in First Round

The Guelph Storm clinched sixth in the OHL’s Western Conference on Saturday night with their 7-3 road win over the Saginaw Spirit.

With the win, Guelph locked up a first round match-up against the third ranked Sarnia Sting who saw their 17-game regulation unbeaten streak snapped on Saturday.

The Western Conference Quarterfinal series opens in Sarnia on Friday, March 31 at 7:05 pm with Game 2 scheduled on Sunday, April 2nd at 2:05 pm.

The series shifts to the Sleeman Centre for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:00 pm and Thursday, April 6 at 7:00 pm.  If the best-of-seven series requires a Game 6, the clubs will square off in Guelph on Sunday, April 9 at 2:00 pm.
