Garlent added to Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team traning camp roster

Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), announced Wednesday that forward Hunter Garlent (Thorold, Ont./Guelph, OHL) has been added to Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team training camp roster.

Garlent recorded 31 points in 50 games with the Storm, scoring 12 goals and adding 19 assists, finishing 11th in team scoring. He will travel to Sochi, Russia, on Wednesday with the rest of the camp roster to participate in pre-tournament games ahead of the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship.

The camp roster now includes 23 players – three goaltenders, seven defencemen and 13 forwards. Garlent is the 12th player on the roster who competed at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
