HOW ACQUIRED: Ian was drafted by the Storm in the 7th round of the 1997 OHL Priority Selection.

POST JR. CAREER: Following his junior career, Ian has played for Trenton (ECHL), Philadelphia (AHL) Florida (ECHL), San Diego (ECHL), Peoria (ECHL), and Utah (ECHL).

STATUS: Retired from pro hockey following the 2007-08 season.

POSITION: Defence

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • OHL J. Ross Robertson Cup Champion with the Guelph Storm (1997-98)
  • Guelph Storm Most Improved Player (1998-99)
  • Winmar Community Hero Award (1999-00)

Ian was drafted in the second round (51st overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
