Nate Schnarr Commits to Storm

The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that 2015 third round pick Nate Schnarr has agreed to terms on a Standard Player Agreement with the team.

The Waterloo native had 31 goals and 74 points in 51 games at the minor midget level with the Waterloo Wolves last season. At 6’03 and 166 pounds, Scharr won the silver medal with Team Alliance at the OHL Gold Cup this past March recording five points, three goals and two assists, in five games.

“The Storm are very pleased to have Nate to decide to continue his hockey and academic developments as a member of our club”, GM Mike Kelly said.  “Nate brings a unique combination of skill, size and hockey sense to the organization.  With his ability to play both center and wing we see Nate being a very important part of our future success.  We would like to welcome Nate and his family to the Storm family.”

Schnarr will join the rest of the Storm when training camp opens at the Sleeman Centre in August.
